Meet Your guide

James Hin

James Hin is a ceremonial guide, coach, author, and sound practitioner with deep experience leading psychedelic journeys in both private and small-group settings. Over many years, he has supported individuals through immersive, intentional journeys oriented toward self-exploration, insight, and meaningful inner work.

His approach is relational and responsive rather than protocol-driven. Drawing from ceremonial practice and coaching frameworks, James works with people as they are—psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually—meeting what arises in the moment rather than imposing a fixed structure. He does not position himself as a healer; instead, he focuses on holding a steady, attentive presence that allows individuals to engage their own inner process with honesty, responsibility, and agency.

In addition to his work guiding journeys, James incorporates sound as a supportive modality, using crystal bowls, gongs, flutes, drums, and other resonant instruments to deepen embodiment and support emotional and somatic engagement. His work is informed by long-term personal practice, mentorship, and time spent learning within traditional contexts, shaping a grounded respect for humility, responsibility, and integrity when working with expanded states of awareness.

At the core of his facilitation is discernment and presence—knowing when to guide, when to hold silence, and when to allow the experience to unfold without interference. His role is not to direct the journey, but to accompany it with steadiness and clarity.
